Meet Nikki Reed
Nikki Reed was born on May 17, 1988 in West Los Angeles, California. She grew up in Culver City, California and has one older brother. Her parents divorced when she was two years old. She moved out on her own when she was just 14! Her trademark in films is to be the character that grows up to fast or is the brat.
Nikki rote the script to Thirteen in 6 days loosely based on her own life. She then starred in the movie as Evie. In her life she had been the innocent starting Tracy, but she looked more like the bad girl, Evie. Catherine Hardwicke directed Thirteen and her and Nikki became great friends.
Thirteen was her first ever film, her second was when she played Zane Berg in Man of God. She then worked with Catherine Hardwicke again in the Lords of Dogtown. She then played Tally in American Gun and Mini in Mini's First Time. Next she appeared in a couple of shows until she played Shay in Cherry Crush and Allison in Familiar Strangers. Then Nikki got her big break in Twilight just like Kellan! Nikki was cased as the vain and mean, but lovable Rosalie! Nikki reunited with Catherine again as Catherine directed Twilight. Next for Nikki is Chain Letter, Privileged, Last Day of Summer, K-11 and New Moon!
